Temporary Schedule Adjustments for Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu EMU Trains on May 12th!
Commuters traveling between Chennai Beach and Chengalpattu via suburban trains, take note: Maintenance work at Chengalpattu station will lead to temporary schedule adjustments on Sunday, May 12th. From 11:10 am to 12:20 pm, trains will make an unscheduled stop at Singaperumal Temple. Consequently, the 9:25 am and 10 am trains departing from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu will halt at Singaperumal Temple. Similarly, the 11:20 am and 12 pm trains from Chengalpattu towards the coast will start their journey from Singaperumal Temple instead of Chengalpattu.
Passengers on the weekly express train (No. 22869/22870) between Visakhapatnam and Chennai Central will also enjoy added convenience. An extra sleeper coach will be temporarily added to the train from May 13th to June 11th to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during this period.
