+2 Supplementary Exam 2026: Application Dates Announced for Failed Students in Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced that students who failed in the Class 11 (+1) and Class 12 (+2) public examinations can apply for the June/July 2026 supplementary exams from May 18 to May 30, 2026.

Students can submit their applications through their respective schools, while private candidates can apply through district service centres. Candidates must pay the examination fee along with the online registration fee during the application process.

TN Supplementary Exam 2026 Fee Details

For arrear candidates appearing for failed subjects:

- ₹50 per subject
- ₹35 additional fee
- ₹70 online registration fee

For first-time private candidates:

- ₹150 examination fee
- ₹35 additional fee
- ₹70 online registration fee

Students who miss the regular application deadline can apply under the special permission scheme by paying an additional ₹1000 fee. Government and fully aided school students of the 2025-26 academic year are exempted from this special fee.

Hall Ticket Download Details

After online registration, students will receive an acknowledgement slip containing the application number. This number will be required to download the hall ticket later. Candidates are advised to keep the acknowledgement slip safely until the examination results are released.
