Chennai International Film Festival from 14th December
The Chennai International Film Festival is scheduled to commence on 14th December and will be concluded on 21st December.
More than 150 films from 50 counties all over the world including Sweden, England, Germany, Korea, and India will be screened during this festival.
12 best Tamil films are also being screened. On the occasion of the MGR centenary celebrations being observed, 2 movies starring MGR are also being released.
The international film festival will be inaugurated at 6.00 PM on 14th December at the Chennai Kalaivanar Arangam.
The director of the film festival, E. Thangaraj, informed that the movies for the festival are to be screened in the following theatres and venues � Sathyam Cinemas, Russian Cultural Centre, Devi, Devi Bala, Anna theatre, and Tagore Film Centre.
