Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST) introduces the Anbu Scholarship Scheme under the guidance of Chancellor Dr. Mariazeena Johnson. This initiative aims to support underprivileged students in pursuing higher education. The scholarship targets individuals identified by NGOs, children of Indian defense personnel, destitute women and war widows, children of prison inmates, and meritorious wards of non-teaching staff. The screening process evaluates factors such as family background, performance in qualifying exams, and a test conducted by the institution.
Additionally, the Anbu Foundation, affiliated with SIST, extends support to scholarship recipients by providing food and hostel accommodations. The foundation`s overarching mission is to enable individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
