Important Train Diversions: Varanasi Yard Remodeling by Northern Railway

In preparation for the remodeling of Varanasi Yard in the Lucknow division, Northern Railway has issued notifications regarding the diversion of train services. The pre-non interlocking work is scheduled as follows:
Diversion of Train Services:
Train No. 12669 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Chhapra Bi-Weekly Superfast Express:
- Departing from Dr MGR Chennai Central at 17.40 hrs on the following dates: 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th September, 02nd, 07th, 09th, and 14th October 2023.
- This train will be diverted to run via the following route for 10 services:
1. Prayagraj Jn
2. Prayagraj Rambag
3. Varanasi Jn
4. Varanasi City
Train No. 12670 Chhapra – Dr MGR Chennai Central Bi-Weekly Superfast Express:
- Departing from Chhapra at 21.00 hrs on the following dates: 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th, 27th September, 02nd, 04th, 09th, and 11th October 2023.
- This train will be diverted to run via the following route for 10 services:
1. Varanasi City
2. Varanasi Jn
3. Prayagraj Rambag
4. Prayagraj Jn.
