Raging coronavirus is back in another form and is spreading fast and wide in countries such as China and others!
Subsequently, a full-fledged review meeting was conducted regarding our country presided over by the Central Government Cabinet Minister for Health yesterday (Wednesday, 21st December)!
It has been established in China that a new version of coronavirus, known as PF-7, is detected and as such, the central government has emphasized that citizens MUST start wearing facial masks again to prevent the spread of this new form of coronavirus!
As recorded, the raging coronavirus affected all countries in the world over the last 2-and-a-half-years and only over the last few months, the spread and intensity abated considerably all over the world! However, presently, the new form of coronavirus has ragingly spread far and wide in China over the last few months. The government of China implemented strict Lockdown conditions which were protested by the public!
Subsequently, most of the lockdown restrictions were withdrawn by the Government of China!
As such, the spread of coronavirus resumed again with more intensity!
Death rate started increasing again in China A situation arose where the citizens had to wait with the dead bodies for a long while! As such, a tense situation has been prevailing in China!
As regards India, as of the status of 19th December an average of 158 citizens are affected daily! On a global level, over the last 6 weeks, on average, 5.9 Lakhs new infections occur every day!!
In China, in the Omicron form of coronavirus, it has been detected that a new virus, PF-& has been affecting citizens. It has been established that this new type of PF-7 is the reason for such a rapid spread of corona during this period!
The United States of America has observed that it is a matter of important concern the rapid spread of the new form of coronavirus in China! As such, the USA has warned other countries to take all precautionary activities to prevent the spread of coronavirus yet again! As an echo of this development, a detailed review meeting was conducted in Delhi in this regard presided over by the Central Minister for Health Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi!
In this meeting, Niti Aayog (Health Department) Members Dr V K Paul, Director of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) Rajiv Pal, National Technology Consolation Committee President Dr N K Aurora, and the Secretaries of the Ministries of Health, Medicines, biotechnology, and Aayush participated.
During the meeting, a fully detailed presentation was made regarding the current international situation and its status within India! The daily infections registered in India, it was presented that the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana are at the forefront and that 84% of the spread is in these states!
Subsequently, a decision was taken to increase the testing capacity and to fully implement the prevention methods, and the samples collected from different states must be sent for a detailed genetic test and accordingly intensify the monitoring an order was released accordingly by the Minister for Health. The Minister further infoformed that immediate details must be sent in case the new PF-7 virus is confirmed anywhere which would be a great help to prevent spread!
Though the recent outbreak is not so intense in India, it was emphasized in the meeting to keep sufficient stock of medicines.
Central Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya informed: "The impact of the raging coronavirus pandemic is yet to be over! I have emphasized that All the staff of the concerned department MUST BE VIGILANT, strengthen the monitoring! We are prepared to meet any challenging developments!"
New Aayog Member Dr V. K. Paul shared with the press reporters:
"Around 27-26% of the citizens had got vaccinated as a precaution. As such, those what not done vaccination MUST Immediately GET VACCINATED – THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IN RECENT DEVELOPMENTS! And all citizens must wear facial masks in places where a gathering of people is more! Central Government has already initiated stringent monitoring! As such, THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE PUBLIC TO PANIC ON THIS ISSUE!"
THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HAS DECIDED TO CONDUCT ANOTHER MEETING NEXT WEEK ON THIS IMPORTANT ISSUE!
