Tamil Nadu Government Arts Colleges Reopen After Semester Break; Classes Resume for Senior Students

Government Arts and Science Colleges across Tamil Nadu reopened on June 15 after the semester vacation, with classes resuming for second-year, third-year undergraduate students and second-year postgraduate students.

Students were given semester holidays from April 13 following the completion of examinations. As per the Higher Education Department`s schedule, colleges reopened on Monday, marking the beginning of the new academic session for senior students.

Meanwhile, the admission counselling process for undergraduate courses in government arts and science colleges is currently underway. The counselling began on June 4 and continues across the state.

Classes for first-year undergraduate students are scheduled to commence on July 1 after the completion of the admission process.

The reopening of colleges signals the start of a new academic phase, with institutions preparing for regular classes and academic activities across Tamil Nadu.
