Temporary Cancellation and Route Changes for Chennai EMU Trains Due to Engineering Works!
Several EMU trains between Chennai Beach and Tambaram will be temporarily canceled due to engineering works at Chennai Park Railway station. The works will occur from 11:20 PM on May 18 to 5:00 AM on May 19, and from 11:20 PM on May 19 to 5:00 AM on May 20, according to a release by Southern Railway (SR).
The following Chennai Beach - Tambaram EMU locals will be fully canceled:
• 9:30 PM, 11:30 PM, 11:59 PM on May 18
• 4:15 AM, 11:20 PM, 11:40 PM, 11:59 PM on May 19
The following Tambaram - Chennai Beach EMU locals will be fully canceled:
• 10:40 PM, 11:20 PM, 11:40 PM on May 18
• 10:40 PM, 11:15 PM, 11:35 PM on May 19
Additionally, due to engineering works between Attippattu Pudu Nagar and Ennore stations in the Chennai Central - Gudur section from 9:35 AM to 12:35 PM between May 18 to 21, there will be changes in the EMU train services from Moore Market Complex (MMC) to Gummidipundi and Sullurpeta.
The following services will skip the Ennore stoppage and run on the fast line:
• Gummidipundi - MMC EMU locals at 9:55 AM and 11:30 AM from May 18 to 21
• Sullurupeta - MMC EMU local at 10:00 AM from May 18 to 21
• Gummidipundi - Chennai Beach EMU local at 10:55 AM from May 18 to 21
