An announcement has been released for recruitment for jobs under the quota allotted for artists.
The present announcement is for filling up the vacant posts in the Western Railway.
The details:
Octopod Instrument Player – 1
Age Limit: Candidates MUST be in the age group 18-30.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 19900/- - Rs. 63200/-
Male Singer – 1
Age Limit: Candidates MUST be in the age group 18-30.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 19900/- - Rs. 63300/-
Academic qualification for the above posts:
For employment in Indian Railways under the artist`s quota, the candidate MUST have passed 12th Standard or equivalent qualification.
Qualification to be categories under Artists quota:
Octopod Instrument Player:
Candidate MUST have studied in a government-approved institution,
Male Singer:
Candidates MUST have studied classical or Light music in a government-approved Music College/Institution.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on their performances in the ONLINE written test, Interview and verification of documents/certificates.
Examination Fees:
SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Persons with Disability – ரூ.250/-
Other candidates: Rs. 500/-
