The long-awaited new bus stand project at Ayyappanthangal near Porur is progressing rapidly, bringing relief to commuters in the area. The project, undertaken by the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, aims to upgrade the existing facility with modern infrastructure.

Work Progress
Construction is now in full swing, and officials have indicated that the project will be completed soon and opened for public use. Once finished, the new bus stand will offer:
