Amazon Alexa celebrates fourth anniversary in India

Amazon India has come to the new phase of celebrating the fourth anniversary of Alexa in India. The leading player of E-commerce claims that Indian customers have Alexa voice service in Hindi, English, and Hinglish on Echo range of devices like Amazon shopping app and Fire TV. As per the reports, Alexa built-in devices by other leading brands and the number of requests to Alexa have gone up by 68 percent as compared to the last year.
When it comes to offers and discounts, Amazon has announced up to 50% discount on the Amazon Echo range of smart devices like speakers and displays. Another major asset is that 43%discount on Fire TV devices. Smart gadgets will have a discount of 33 percent.
Amazon officials also said that customers from India interacted with Alexa multiple times in the above-mentioned languages. Users got entertained by Alexa seemingly as 21 lakhs songs heard by customers every day. Alexa smart home selection was reached by 72% YoY with new products like OnePlus, Hindware, Stomberg, and Xiaomi.
Going into details, Alexa responded to over 2.5 Lakhs requesting for controlling smart home appliances on daily basis. Customers about 1.7 lakhs asked Alexa about health issues like COVID, and other health-related issues. There are various products that are coming up on Amazon to entertain audiences with various products to avail for new customers.
