Superb news!! In October, 13 MTC bus terminuses will be inaugurated in Chennai!!
Thirteen metropolitan bus terminuses or MTC bus terminuses are being constructed at a cost of Rs 200 cr in Chennai. These 13 MTC bus terminuses would be inaugurated in October by the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin. This was mentioned by HR and CE minister Mr. P.K. Sekarbabu. It is learnt that the MTC bus terminuses include the ones present in Ambattur, Udayasuriyan Nagar and Mullai Nagar etc. The HR and CE minister was busy inaugurating a multipurpose building at Perambur High Road South today.
Under the MLA Constituency Development Fund or MLACDS, GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation has constructed the building at a cost of Rs 34.90 lakhs. There is a children`s centre present in the building. The minister distributed materials required for the children at the centre.
It is worthy to note that the Kuthambakkam bus terminus is now nearing completion and this bus terminus is being constructed by CMDA. In Mamallapuram near Chennai, another bus terminus is also constructed now. In the middle of January, the bus terminus at Chengalpet would open to the public.
