There is a chance available now for the UG/PG students, academicians and faculty members etc to get additional qualifications through a new course at Anna University or AU in Chennai. It is worth noting that nanoscience refers to study of materials at the nanoscale ranging between 1 to 100nanometres.
Anna University has now introduced a short term course in nanoscience and technology for the students. The objective behind this course is to facilitate additional qualifications for the students. From November through online mode, the Centre for Nanoscience and Technology or CNST in AU would be conducting this superb course. It is well known that CNST is actively involved in the research and development in nanoscience and technology.
It was brought out by sources from AU that this new course would be open to both undergraduate as well as postgraduate students plus to faculty members, academicians, research scholars and industry professionals etc. Information gathered is that the course would provide focussed knowledge across various modules of nanoscience. Latest technology and applications of nanoscience etc would be taught to the students. It is superb to note that this course has been designed to prepare the participants for the roles in various important sectors like healthcare, environmental science, nanotoxicology and energy harvesting and storage.
