Chief Secretary, State Government of Tamil Nadu: emergency meeting to decide on 100% lockdown in districts where corona is raging most!

With the impact/extent of the spread of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic spreading fast and wide, the Chief Secretary of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, Rajiv Ranjan is conducting an emergency special review meeting today (Thursday, 29th April) regarding the requirement to impose additional lockdown restrictions!
All district collectors and medical experts will be participating in this emergency meeting. After ascertaining their opinions regarding the situation, information is gathered that a decision may be taken to impose additional lockdown restrictions in the most-coronavirus-affected districts of Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, and Coimbatore!
As the extent of the resurgent coronavirus spread is already more than 15% in the districts of Chennai, Chengalpattu, and Coimbatore, the Central Department of Health is already planning to impose 100% lockdown in these districts!
