Remdicivir being sold at Kilpauk Government General Hospital!

The event of organising and facilitating the availability of Remdicivir medicine to the recommended patients on sales was launched yesterday (Monday, 26th April).
In this situation, with an announcement already made that the medicine will be available for sales today (Tuesday, 27th April) for the 2nd day, the public was disappointed at the Remdicivir not being sold as announced and a crowd of over 500 had been standing in the queue for long hours!
Remdicivir is being sold at Rs. 115 per dose. However, there were strong complaints that the same medicine is sold in private hospitals at Rs. 5000 to Rs. 10000 as per information! As such, the government had made arrangements for this medicine to be sold to patients in private hospitals as well!
However, on this day, there was no sufficient stock of the medicine and as such, sales have not been carried out! The relatives of the patients have been waiting in long queues to buy the same!
