Tamil Nadu State Government fixes the treatment charges for corona infection in private hospitals!

The Tamil Nadu Wing of the Indian Medical Council has given its recommendations to the State Government of Tamil Nadu regarding the treatment charges for COVID-19 infection given by the private hospitals.
As per this, for the patients mildly affected with COVID-19, A 10-DAY TREATMENT WOULD COST Rs. 231820. It has been mentioned that up to Rs. 23000 per day can be charged.
For the patients who are given intensive treatment, the charges for 17 days are fixed at Rs. 431411.Up to Rs. 43000 can be charged per day.
Indian Medical Council has also recommended that the doctors can charge up to Rs. 9600 per day for isolated patients.
