From outside the containment areas in Chennai, 30 percent of Corona virus-positive cases present

As per the data belonging to the civic body, it is clear that 30 percent of the Corona virus-positive cases are from outside the containment areas.
It is well known that GCC has been focusing on the control of the spread of Coronavirus inside the containment zones in Chennai.
On Saturday, there were 332 Corona virus-positive cases reported and 94 cases were from outside the containment areas. This was brought out by the data belonging to Chennai Corporation. As many as 7 of the 94 cases reported outside the containment areas were unlinked new cases.
It is important to note that out of cases that were confirmed positive on Saturday 33 persons were front line workers including health workers, police and sanitary workers, and other government servants. The Kodambakkam and Royapuram zones in Chennai had more than 1000 Corona virus-positive cases.
In the Kodambakkam zone, as many as 15 cases were from outside the containment areas and in the Royapuram zone, 13 cases were from outside the containment areas. Contracting Coronavirus from outside their own families have become common and 135 cases within containment areas and 76 from outside contracted virus from outside their families. The rest cases contracted the virus from their own families.
In the Chennai city, as many as 712 containment areas were present and this was till Sunday morning. In Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar, there were 123 containment areas and in Royapuram there were 113 containment areas. It is known that earlier the containment period was 28 days and it has been reduced to 14 days now.
