Tamil Nadu shocked! 527 confirmed in a single day - total affected 3550!

The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Health has informed that with 527 more persons being affected today (Monday, 4th May), the total number of affected persons has increased to 3550.
In the 2nd phase, the lockdown had been extended up to 2nd May. Hoever, as the virus spread is still not brought under control, lockdown condition has been extended until 17th May
More and more infections are reported with each passing day.
The central ministry of health has reported that the total affected persons has increased to 42836. So far, 11762 patients have recovered and returned home.
A total of 1389 lives have been lost!
In this situation, 527 more persons have been confirmed with infection in Tamil Nadu today on 4th May.
- In Tamil Nadu, 1409 persons have recovered, were discharged and returned home. 30 persons have recovered on 4th May (Monday) and were discharged.
- In Tamil Nadu, 1 more life has been lost and the total loss of lives has gone up to 31.
- In Tamil Nadu, 153489 persons have been tested so far. On 4th May alone, 12773 persons were tested. .
- Tamil Nadu has the maximum number of test centres in the country - 50 coronavirus pandemic test centres. Presently, 1611 persons are under treatment.
- As the population density is quite high in Chennai Metro City, it is rather a stiff challenge to check and control the coronavirus pandemic.
- None of the recovered persons in Tamil Nadu have been affected a 2nd time.
- Out of the affected persons in the state of Tamil Nadu, 2392 are men. 1157 are women. 1 transgender has been confirmed with coronavirus infection.
- In Tamil Nadu, there is a strong trend of the orange zones decreasing changing to red zone!
- Testing is being carried out in large scale in all districts. The medical expert team has recommended that undertaking more tests is better in controlling the virus spread.
- Tamil Nadu State is still under the Protection Circle!
