The State Department of Health has issued a warning that for conducting coronavirus infection for a single individual, charges of Rs. 4500 as fixed by the government must be collected.
This action has been initiated after complaints were received that some private laboratories charge between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 6000.
The Department of Health has informed presently coronavirus infection confirmation tests are being conducted at 34 government laboratories and 12 private laboratories.
For the patients to be admitted in the government hospitals, tests are undertaken in private laboratories.
