Are you keen on withdrawal of lockdown after 14th? Then, observe these!

Quite alarmingly, there has been an increasing trend of more persons affected by the coronavirus pandemic every passing day! As such, the information is doing the rounds that the lockdown situation may be extended in 22 districts with 144 in vogue!
Only 14 days are over since the imposition of the lockdown! The women, claiming no resources for food, gather on the streets - once the police offer them free food, they return to their houses quietly! Imagine the situation of these women who block the roads for food if the lockdown gets extended!
As 149 persons out of the total affected coronavirus persons of 690 belong to the Chennai Metro City, the areas of their residences have all been sealed! Even in this situation preventing them from moving out, some irresponsible citizens still manage to venture out and roam around the roads/streets incurring the extreme wrath f the police!
Following Chennai in the most affected list of coronavirus infected are 60 from the Coimbatore District, 45 from Dindigul district, 38 from Tirunelveli, 32 from Erode, and 30 from Trichy district. Even in this situation, it is alarming to note that there is absolutely no awareness among the Erode citizens of the social distancing and the gravity of the infection status!
Next on the list are 28 from Namakkal, 27 from Ranippettai, 24 from Chingelput, 24 from Madurai, 23 from Karur, 23 from Theni district, 17 from Thoothukudi, 16 from Villupuram and Tirupur districts, 13 from Cuddalore, 12 each from Salem, Thiruvallur, Thiruvarur, Virudhunagar, and Thanjavur affected by the coronavirus pandemic - they are under treatment - still, some citizens cannot remain confined in their residences and venture out!
11 each is affected in the districts of Nagappattinam, Tirupathur, and Thiruvannamalai - In this situation, without any awareness of this, some citizens roam around the streets - the situation is that these vehicles-drivers are constrained to be punished - made to wash hands and eat neem leaves!
Even after several strict warnings that this behavior is not just right and this would render control of the coronavirus pandemic almost impossible, the citizens do not appreciate the gravity of the situation! At the same time, they wish the lockdown to be withdrawn after 14th April!
Though lockdown may be withdrawn after 14th April, there may still be a ban on outsiders entering the sealed areas in the above 22 districts. In the state of Tamil Nadu, 15 Lakhs houses have been inspected in 34 districts and 53 Lakhs citizens have been advised to remain isolated! As such, it is observed that the present 144 impositions may be withdrawn only gradually in several phases!
Given the above situation, the medical experts believe that it is still possible to keep the situation under control and prprevent it from worsening as the following developments indicate:
- The Coronavirus has not reached a stage of social spread
- The high-speed test kit for detecting the coronavirus will now be available and so faster testing, treatment, and preventive actions can be undertaken by the state government department of health.
At the same time, there is another dangerous trend: thinking of keeping it a secret, some people do not give the details of persons affected - names/addresses, etc. and still be in contact with them thus becoming the ‘super-spreaders’ of the coronavirus without realizing the peril!
Given the above situation, it is expected that the theatres, marriage halls, and religious centers will all remain closed even after 14th April!
