The 3rd corona vaccine Sputnik V introduced in Chennai!

After the 2 mostly used corona vaccines Covishield and Covaccine, Sputnik-V has now been introduced in the Chennai Metro City.
Apollo Hospitals has introduced Sputnik-V Vaccine in its Greams Road Hospital yesterday (Friday, 18th June). This �initial pilot soft launch� was for its employees!
Highlights:
� Sputnik-V, the adenoviral vector vaccine with an efficiency of 91.66% is given in 2 doses.
� The 1st dose is given as an intramuscular in the upper arm.
� The 2nd dose is given 3 weeks later (21 days).
� The sputnik-V vaccine has been procured by the Apollo Hospital from Hyderabad-based Dr Reddy�s Laboratories.
� It is available at Rs. 1145/- per dose.
