Corona testing charges reduced in Tamil Nadu!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered a reduction in the testing charges for the coronavirus pandemic!
Under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister�s Old Age Insurance Scheme, if the corona testing is to be undertaken, the charges are reduced from Rs. 800/- to Rs. 550/- in the private testing laboratories!
Under the Chief Minister�s Insurance Scheme, for Group testing, the charges of the private testing laboratories are reduced from Rs. 600/- to Rs. 400/-!
For the citizens who are NOT COVERED UNDER ANY INSURANCE SCHEME, the charges for testing in the private laboratories are reduced from Rs. 1200/- to Rs. 900/-!
For the facility to visit the patient�s residence and take the tests, an additional charge of Rs. 300/- will be made!
