Railway authorities have announced changes in train services in the Tiruchirappalli division due to ongoing engineering works. Several trains will be partially cancelled, rescheduled, or operated with modified routes on selected dates.
Key Train Changes
Tiruchirappalli – Karaikal DEMU (Train No. 76820)
- Partially cancelled on May 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12
- Will run only between Lalgudi and Thiruvarur
Karaikal – Tiruchirappalli DEMU (Train No. 76819)
- Partially cancelled on the same dates
- Will operate only between Karaikal and Thiruvarur
- From Thiruvarur, it will depart at 4:15 PM towards Tiruchirappalli
Tiruchirappalli – Palakkad DEMU Express
- Partially cancelled on May 8, 10, and 12
- Will run only up to Irugur
- From Irugur, a special unreserved train will operate to Palakkad
Tiruchirappalli – Erode Passenger (Train No. 56105)
On May 7 and 8, departure rescheduled to 4:50 PM
Tiruchirappalli – Palakkad DEMU Express (Train No. 16843)
On May 9, departure changed from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
