Be aware of these health conditions that can lead to low grade fever in you?

These days, the presence of persistent low grade fever is being considered more scary than in the past.
The reason for that is due to persistent Coronavirus infection as fever is one of the symptoms of this infection. Many do not want to get affected by this deadly infection as it could lead to death also. It is worth mentioning here that changing weather conditions could also lead to low grade fever. For more than 24 hours, if a person has got temperatures between 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit to 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit, then the person is said to have low grade fever.
Various health conditions that can lead to low grade fever in us are
Viral infections:
Infectious diseases like common cold, flu, Ebole etc are caused due to viral infections. It must be noted that the tiny protein coated germs would enter the human cells and multiply to produce more viral cells. This would make us fall sick.
Pneumonia:
Our air sacs in one or both lungs would become inflamed by pneumonia. Here, the air sacs will get filled with purulent material leading to low grade fever. There are also other symptoms like cough with phlegm or pus, chills and breathing issues etc. Organisms like bacteria, virus and fungi would lead to pneumonia in us. Infants as well as young kids could get affected with pneumonia and it could lead to serious issues. Likewise, those with weak immune systems could get pneumonia and it could be serious.
UTI or urinary tract infections:
Many of us could get infections in our urinary tract involving urethra, urinary bladder and kidneys etc. From outside of the body, the microorganisms could get into the urinary system and it could lead to infection and inflammation causing UTI. Not always low grade fever can be a common symptom of UTi but on occasions.
Tuberculosis or TB:
Mycobacterium tuberculosis is responsible for causing TB in us. Mostly, this bacteria would attack the lungs and there are also possibilities that the bacteria could attack other organs like kidneys, spine and brain etc. In those persons with TB sometimes low grade fever would be present.
Thyroid inflammation:
In the neck is present a butterfly shaped gland called thyroid. The thyroid gland produces hormones that would play a huge role in the growth and metabolism of the body. When thyroid gland gets inflamed then the condition is called as thyroiditis.This could lead to either unusually high or low levels of thyroid hormones.
