There are two types of hair transplantation procedures. Follicular Unit Extraction and Follicular Unit Transplantation.

Follicular Unit Extraction is the most preferred one in India and abroad. The reason for this process is that it is known as less invasive, and downtime is minimal. Doctors also call this process grafting. Once surgery completes, it looks natural.

On the other hand, Follicular Unit Transplantation is a bit time taken to process for patients. Doctors remove a strip of skin with hair follicles from one place and fix it in the bladed area. All don`t accept this process of transplantation.   

The Duration Of  Hair Transplantation And Hair Growth
According to doctors, the entire transplantation process takes around 4 to 8 hours for surgery. After completion of the surgery, three weeks, hair falls out, and this period is called shock loss. From the 6th to the 8th week, you can see hair growth. For complete hair, growth time will be about six weeks again.

Risk factors
Side effects of hair transplantation are less compared to other surgeries. However, there are risk factors involved in this process is like reddening of the skin.
