Certain aspects to be observed while undertaking walking exercise!

The frequently shared ‘ages-old’ saying about the person completely fatigued with ages of hard work is NOT applicable more - We mean, the present lifestyle has changed over so much that a solid majority of the job involves sitting in front of the computer and carrying out one’s given assignments!

The aspect of physical labour and associated expense of physical energy IS NOW PAST! Of course, this drastically reduces the scope for any physical exercise while doing the given tasks. As such, there are frequent complaints of weight gain and other variety of physical complaints!

Given the above scenario, everyone must get into the habit of routine physical exercises. NOTE HERE THAT PHYSICAL EXERCISES DO NOT MEAN THAT ONE HAS TO VISIT THE GYM CENTRES TO UNDERTAKE THEM! A MINIMAL EXERCISE OF UNDERTAKING A REGULAR WALKING ROUTINE BY ITSELF IS QUITE SUFFICIENT!

YES! WALKING IS ONE EXERCISE EASY FOR ONE AND ALL TO START!

In case one is interested and concerned much about improving and sustaining one’s physical health, is it optimal to select walking as exercise.

So, here are a few aspects to make note of and follow while undertaking the regular exercise of walking:

  • Generally, walking exercise may be undertaken both in the mornings and evenings. Still, it is better to do walking in the early morning!
  • However, the ladies especially may find it rather difficult to undertake early morning walk- so, they may choose evenings for the same!
  • While undertaking walking, ensure you are wearing loose cotton dresses! DO NOT WEAR TIGHT DRESSES! Also, ensure your footwear is NOT TOO TIGHT AS WELL!
  • Please do not undertake walking exercise carrying some items! This will entail some physical pressure on the body!
  • Those who undertake walking listening to music through earphones are advised better to use light-weight cell-phones or iPod. Keep the volume low, please!
  • Do not undertake walking on the roads/streets with heavy traffic! Instead, you may undertake walking on your house terrace itself!
  • It is best for you to choose some peaceful location with greenery such as parks which would facilitate both mental and physical peace!
  • Normally, it is advisable to undertake the walking exercise for 30 minutes per day for best results!
  • While undertaking the walking exercise, choose your speed of walk as per your body weight, please!
