Be careful about these diseases that you could get by kissing

A display of affection by using lips is kissing and we normally won`t associate kissing with any health issues etc.
Many films these days have kissing scenes and truth is that these scenes would make us feel excited. There are few benefits of kissing like our happy hormones get boosted, creates bond with other person, relieves stress, reduces anxiety, soothes headaches etc.
Many of us kiss without knowing various issues it might create for us. Diseases which we could get by kissing are
Getting influenza:
If we kiss an infected person, then we might get influenza in us through contacts with saliva or mucus etc. Various symptoms of this disease are sore throat, muscle pain, fever, headaches etc.
Getting herpes:
There are chances that we might get herpes by kissing someone. Here, there would be cold sores in and around the mouth causing difficulties in opening the mouth.
Getting syphilis:
Not many of us would be aware of the truth that we could get syphilis by kissing. Mouth sores would be present and would lead to issues. Normally, antibiotics are used to manage this issue.
Bacterial meningitis:
It is believed that a person might get bacterial meningitis if he or she kisses another person. Point is that this issue spreads through kissing. Various symptoms of meningitis are stiff neck, headache etc.

By kissing, a person would get respiratory virus issues like cold, flu, measles etc. It is said that the chances of getting this virus becomes more by kissing.

It is true that gum diseases do not spread by kissing but the bad bacteria that are responsible for gum diseases could spread by kissing.
Tooth decay:
It is said that by kissing the chances of spreading tooth decay is very high. This issue is due to bacteria streptococcus mutans present in the oral cavity is known.
