Breath Counting Meditation improves health rapidly

The spiritual awakening concepts and quantum physics go with the same path suggesting the fact of what is inside the bodies of earthly livings is present everywhere in the universe in the form of five elements. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water and Space (void) are the basic elements with other sub-atomic particles to form life on this planet. Meditation is the clear path to know what life is and the importance of staying calm and silent irrespective of the negative emotions and thought from the outside environment.

Human beings are designed in certain ways by the uprising of the parents, media, books and other means etched in their subconscious minds. Many western philosophies says that positive thinking will bring more goodness on to our lives. But eastern culture never relies on human thinking. It says that thinking and thoughts will never be in our control. Negative or positive thoughts are the results of our own decisions, environment and surrounding people. One cannot think positive all over the day and expect a good life without any conscious actions. Breath watching meditation is one way to observe different thought patterns of our mind and to let go of those negative thoughts without any kind of forceful positive thinking. Observing all the thoughts and emotions arising inside our mind and sensations of our body is the only way to get out of it. One can never train their minds to get only positive emotions and thoughts irrespective of the outer environment. All thoughts and emotions passes through our mind in the form of body sensations. Our body is the only means by which we can feel any emotion such as anger, happiness, sadness, fear and so on. So it is the meditation that calms down the body and mind in its original spiritual way.

Many scientific revelations found out that meditation improves the brain health and nervous system. Autonomous nervous system is the one path that controls all our essential bodily needs such as digestion, respiration, heart function and other organs. In order to obtain a balanced operation of this nervous system one should have a calm and peaceful criteria in and out of our bodies. Meditation can serve you for this sole purpose of attaining peace through governing or observing thoughts.

Steps:
  • Sit in an upright position comfortable for your age and physical fitness.
  • Close your eyes and breathe slowly.
  • Relax your entire body and loose out any tension between your muscles and joints.
  • Then count your breaths as you slowly exhale and inhale. One count for inhale and inhale and so the cycle continues slowly in a relaxed manner.
  • Repeat this for few minutes.
  • You will surely get lot of thoughts and emotitions while counting your breaths. Watch the thoughts and simply go back to count the breath.
  • Never forcefully make a thought disappear or appear. Allow any kind of thoughts to come in and do not embrace any thought.
  • If you go along with a thought pattern and forget to count, quietly come back to breathing counts without any disturbance.
  • Coming back to counting from random thoughts is what the real meaning of mindfulness meditation.
One can increase the time duration of this simple procedure of breathing meditation with their practice and effort. The practice calms down the entire autonomous body system that will later assist the body to realign itself with the nature providing optimal health.
