These foods could help women in managing or controlling menopausal hot flashes

Menopause is an important stage in the life of a woman. It is a time where the menstrual periods stop permanently and this would make women unable to bear children. Menopause usually occurs in a woman between 49 to 52 years. Women experience many symptoms during this menopause stage. Intake of whole grains:

For managing the issue of hot flashes, fibres are tremendous. The fibre is present in huge amounts in whole grains like barley, brown rice, oatmeal etc. In balancing estrogen dietary fibre plays a crucial role.

Intake of low fat yoghurt:

Menopausal hot flashes could be reduced by the consumption of calcium rich foods such as low fat yoghurt etc. Excess estrogen from the liver is removed by calcium.  During menopause, bones and teeth become very weak and they break easily. By the intake of calcium rich low fat yoghurt, bones and teeth become stronger. Issues such as osteoporosis and bone decay etc could be avoided easily.

Intake of eggs:

Vitamin B is very important and it plays great role in the maintenance of normal adrenal gland functions. Intake of eggs increases vitamin B in menopausal women as eggs are rich in vitamin B. Controlling of estrogen and progesterone is possible and this reduces the chances of getting hot flashes during the menopause.

Intake of walnuts:

Regulation of cellular functions inside the body is due to omega-3 fatty acids and walnuts are rich source of omega-3 fatty acids. It is said that omega-3 fatty acids could help ease hot flashes during the menopause.

Intake of pineapples:

Vitamin C is present in high amounts in the pineapples is known. This powerful antioxidant vitamin C could decrease hot flashes in women.
