The severe cyclonic storm Gaja crossed the Tamil Nadu coast between Nagapattinam and nearby Vedaranniyam early Friday with wind speed gusting up to 120 kmph.

Cyclone Gaja: Tamil Nadu Weatherman Special Update
Low shear on its path and with ideal SST, Severe Cyclone Gaja is not expected to Weaken and instead going to cross between Cuddalore and Vedaranayam as a strong Cyclone with winds clocking 100-120 km/hr.

Cyclone Gaja: Prospects of 20 cm rainfall in 6 districts
The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the cyclone Gaja is set to cross the coast near Nagapattinam between 8.00 PM and 11.00 PM tonight (Thursday, 15th November).

Today cyclone Gaja set to make landfall as it has moved nearer to TN coast
The latest news is cyclone Gaja over Bay of Bengal is at about 470 km south-east from Chennai. On Thursday, 15th of November 2018, this cyclone Gaja would make landfall between Cuddalore and Pamban.

Chennai rains to commence in view of Cyclone Gaja, rainy days ahead
