No prospects of heavy rain today in Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur districts!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are no prospects for heavy rains in the 3 districts of Chennai, Thiruvallur, and Kanchipuram.
Due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere. There have been widespread rains throughout Tamil Nadu and heavy rains in several places.
With the heavy downpour in the Chennai Metro City and its suburban areas, the roads are flooded and water stagnated in the low-lying areas.
As regards the Chennai Metro City, the sky would be clear today (Monday, 2nd December). The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for mild to medium rains in a few places in the city during the evening and night sessions.
Further, it was informed that a low-pressure zone has been prevailing over the East Arabian Sea and hence there are prospects for good rains in the Western Ghat Mountain Range.
