Chennai Rain - Holiday for Schools

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in most parts of Tamil Nadu today (Saturday, 30th November) due to the prevailing low-pressure zone and the cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
It has been raining since midnight yesterday in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs. The Chennai district administration has announced today as holiday for schools only.
The schools in Kanchipuram, Chengalpet, Sivagangai, Puthukottai and Nagapattinam districts will also announced as holiday.
