INDIA�S LARGEST DESTINATION PLANT IS SET TO BE COMPLETED
India�s largest desalination plant in Chennai is expected to be operational by April .This is being built by Abengoa SA, a Spanish engineering company at a cost of 91 million euro ($124 million).

What has been there for long long time is now to be called unethical. The Medical council of India with the support of Union Health Ministry has woken up. They are contemplating on the punitive action to be taken on the Doctors who accept gifts from the Pharmaceutical companies.

TEN SAPLINGS FOR EVERY ONE TREE FELLED.
The Tamilnadu Infrastructure Development Corporation has informed that it would plant 10 sapling for every one tree felled. Trees have been felled to widen the roads. There was petition in High court against felling of trees. TNIDC filed counter affidavit saying that the corporation had earmarked Rs 25 lakhs and Rs 27 lakhs respectively

A group of Doctors will undertake study on School Children of 50 Private, Public and aided schools on the causes for Obesity, Diabetes and other disorders. The study will include screening blood samples for Sugar, Blood Pressure, and Cholesterol and Lipid profile. Apart from this children�s eating habits and other activities will also be recorded.
