TRB Announcement- Written test for PG teachers selection on 12th October in TN!!
The TRB or teachers recruitment board has announced that the written test for the post of senior teachers in the government schools across TN would take place on 12th October as scheduled.
It must be recalled that on 10th July 2025 TRB issued a notification to fill up 1996 master degree teachers, physical education director Grade -1, computer instructor Grade-1 posts in the TN government higher secondary schools. It was also announced that the written examination for selection would be held on 12th October 2025.
The online registration began on 10th July and completed on 12th August. It is noteworthy that a case was filed at the HC of Chennai demanding 3 weeks postponement for the preparation for the exams. The reason for this was due to the fact that the syllabus for educational psychology and general knowledge has been changed this year.
The judges asked TRB to postpone the written examination for the post of senior teachers in the schools in TN. On Monday last week, a consultative meeting took place at the TRB office regarding the selection. This meeting was chaired by the chairman of the board Jayanthi. Point is that as per the guidelines of TRB there should be a gap of 60 days between the notification and the date of written examination. To help the candidates, a time of 90 days has been provided. According to the earlier notification, the written examination for PG teacher`s selection would be held on 12th October.
