Coaching classes for NEET start for Chennai school students

Coaching classes for the Chennai Metro Corporation school students to prepare for writing NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) have commenced.

Chennai Metro Corporation�s Anna Nagar Region � Chennai Boys Higher Secondary school, Subbarayan Street and Kodambakkam Region � Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School have commenced coaching classes for NEET under the SPARK Integrated Plan.

Alongside the coaching classes for NEET, in the 2 schools � Chennai Boys Higher Secondary School, Subbarayan Street and Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School, Saidapet, the schools with boarding and lodging facilities, rooms with the latest facilities with 120 beds were opened.

Chennai Metro Corporation Commissioner Karthikeyan shared the information:

As a notable improvement, the boarding and lodging facilities have been made in the 2 Chennai Metro Corporation schools � Anna Nagar Subbarayan Street Boys Higher Secondary School, and Saidapet Girls Higher Secondary School since the last 2 years.

In another positive development, through the plan called Spark Systems, 25 boy students and 45 girl students were selected from the 70 schools under the Chennai Metro Corporation and they were given special coaching classes under the syllabus.This training helped overall skill improvement of these students who participated in the training.

 In this academic year, 60 boys and 60 girls have been selected from the corporation schools have been selected through an aptitude test to prepare them to join the engineering and medical courses.

Further, coaching classes to prepare for NEET are conducted in both English and Tamil medium for 40 boys and 40 girls.

Further, 20 boys and 20 girls are given training classes in English medium named �G Main English� through 2 coaching centres. The training classes are scheduled from 5.00 AM to 10.00 PM and cover various tasks and activities.

The coaching covers classes as per the syllabus from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM and on weekends and festival holidays, as a special coaching to prepare for NEET and JEE, special coaching classes are conducted by a well-reputed private institution. Training is given from Monday to Friday as per the systemized timetable by the institute Master Academy.

 On a rotational basis, the Education Officer and the Additional Education Officer and all Assistant education Officers from the Department of Education will supervise the progress made on the above 2 coaching centres to confirm the skill improvement of the students and facilitate them to succeed in writing NEET and JEE Examinations.
