Ingredients
� Rye flour � 1 cup
� Sprouted green-gram � Half cup
� Scaraped coconut - half cup
� Ghee (clarified butter) � 1 teaspoon
The recipe
� Take a frying pan. Drop a teaspoon of ghee. Once a bit warm, add the rye flour and fry � till the aroma develops and let cool.
� Add warm water little by little and mix smooth without any lumps.
� Take the mould for making �puttu� Fill up layers of rye flour, sprouts, and coconut one upon another.
� Steam for 10 minutes using the puttu vessel.
Nutritious and yummy rye puttu is ready to eat.
This is an excellent breakfast for diabetics.
