Gold Prices Slip in Chennai Today: 22K Gold Falls to ₹14,060 Per Gram, Silver Drops to ₹275

Gold prices in Chennai witnessed a slight decline on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, offering some relief to jewellery buyers after the sharp rise recorded in the previous session. According to the latest market update, both 22-carat and 18-carat gold rates edged lower, while silver prices also registered a drop.

The price of 22-carat gold has fallen by ₹10 per gram, bringing the rate down to ₹14,060 per gram. Likewise, 18-carat gold prices decreased by ₹10 per gram and are now trading at ₹11,790 per gram.

Silver prices also moved lower, declining by ₹5 per gram to ₹275 per gram.
