Cyclone ‘DANA’ Forces Cancellation of Key Train Services by East Coast Railway

Due to Cyclone ‘DANA,’ East Coast Railway has announced the cancellation of the following trains as a safety measure:

  1. Bhubaneswar – Dr MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express (Train No. 12830), scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar at 12:10 PM on 24th October 2024, has been fully cancelled.

  2. Dr MGR Chennai Central – Bhubaneswar Superfast Express (Train No. 12829), set to leave Chennai Central at 10:00 AM on 25th October 2024, is also fully cancelled.

  3. SMVT Bengaluru – Howrah Express (via Katpadi, Train No. 22888), scheduled for departure at 10:15 AM on 24th October 2024, is cancelled. However, the train scheduled for 23rd October 2024 will run as planned.

Passengers are advised to check for further updates and reschedule their travel accordingly.
