Will seniority get affected, if you change the district?
No! Transfers are routinely done due to some job situations. So, seniority of registration will not get affected.
Is self-declaration required to get the unemployment assistance?
Yes! The jobless persons will have to give a self-declaration forms for 3 years every April. Any failure to furnish this self=declaration will result in the unemployment assistance stopped from that year.
Along with the self-declaration form, Employment Exchange ID card, (original & duplicate), Bank Passbook (original & duplicate) , and the acceptance card issued by the employment exchange should all be attached to the district employment exchange office in person.
How to register in Employment Exchange on-line?
Registration/renewal facilities for employment exchange are available on-line. Go to the web site: tnvelaivaaippu.gov.in/Empower
Fill up the particulars of date of birth, etc. Give new user id & password. Press continue. Fill up the details like name, address, caste, etc.
Next, fill up the contact details with particulars of educational qualifications, etc. Click the �ok�.
You will get the registration number.
You can take a print of the same.
Please note the user id & password! Change it if required!
