Chennai Egmore Railway Station: Suburban Train Services Resume

Suburban train services at Chennai Egmore Railway Station have resumed from today after the completion of renovation works on platforms 10 and 11. The announcement was made by Southern Railway.
The railway services, which were suspended from February 20 to April 5 for maintenance, have been restored ahead of schedule. All EMU trains on key routes including Chennai Beach, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, and Arakkonam are now operating as per the regular timetable.
The temporary schedule has been withdrawn, and passengers can now follow the usual weekday and Sunday timings from midnight today. The early completion of the project brings relief to daily commuters and improves overall travel convenience in Chennai.
