Chennai Metro Water to Hold Public Grievance Meeting Today at All Area Offices
The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has announced that its monthly public grievance meeting will be held today across all area offices in Chennai.
According to an official statement, the grievance redressal meetings are conducted every second Saturday of the month to address public complaints related to drinking water and sewage services. For this month, the meeting will take place today from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at all Metro Water area offices.
The meeting will be conducted under the supervision of a Superintending Engineer in each office to ensure that public concerns are addressed effectively.
Residents can directly submit petitions regarding various issues, including drinking water supply problems, sewage issues, water and sewerage tax payments, pending new water and sewerage connections, and other service-related queries.
Officials also stated that the meeting will provide information and guidance on rainwater harvesting and its maintenance, encouraging residents to adopt proper water conservation practices.
The Metro Water Board has urged the public to participate in the grievance meeting and make use of the opportunity to resolve their water and sewerage-related issues.
