The former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee had been admitted to the Delhi AIIMS hospital due to some severe kidney problem. AIIMS released a report yesterday that his condition was deteriorating.
In this situation, he passed away at 5.05 PM in the evening today (Thursday, 16th August).
Vajpayee had served as the nation�s Prime Minister 3 times and he was 93 years old.
Following his death, the Tamil Nadu state government has declared a public holiday tomorrow (Friday, 17th August) as a condolence. It was further announced that the state government will observe 7-day mourning.
So, all the schools, colleges, and offices will not function tomorrow (17th August). This will be observed in Puducherry as well.
