Chennai Metro Survey Begins; Passengers Can Respond Till May 10

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has launched its annual customer satisfaction survey for the second consecutive year, inviting passengers to share feedback on their travel experience.

The survey is open until May 10 and can be accessed through the official CMRL website and social media platforms. It aims to gather insights into passenger satisfaction and improve overall service quality.

The survey focuses on key aspects of commuting, including train frequency, operational hours, ease of entry and exit, comfort during travel, seamless interchanges, payment options, and access to service-related information.

In addition, passengers will be asked to evaluate critical service parameters such as reliability, customer care, comfort, crowding, and safety. The final section of the survey highlights the most important factors influencing public transport users.

This initiative is part of a global benchmarking exercise conducted in collaboration with COMET under the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) at Imperial College London. The program compares metro systems worldwide to enhance service standards.

CMRL joined the COMET initiative in October 2024, becoming the third metro system in India to participate after Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited.

Through this survey, Chennai Metro aims to understand passenger expectations better and deliver improved, efficient, and user-friendly transport services.
