The decision applies to students from Classes 1 to 9 across government, aided, and private schools in the state.

Annual examinations are scheduled to conclude on April 16, 2026, after which students will proceed for their summer holidays. This year, the academic schedule has been slightly advanced due to the upcoming elections, as several schools will function as polling centres.
