Air India Extends Israel Flight Suspension Until July 31 Amid Middle East Tensions

Air India has extended the suspension of its flights to Israel until July 31 due to the ongoing conflict and rising tensions in the Middle East. The airline had earlier paused services temporarily, but the continuing security concerns have forced an extended halt in operations.

Since the escalation of the Israel-Iran conflict, international air travel across the region has been severely affected. Several countries and airlines have altered routes or suspended flights because of airspace restrictions and safety risks. Airlines are also facing operational challenges, including higher fuel costs caused by longer alternative flight routes.

Air India had initially suspended Israel flight services soon after the conflict began. With the situation remaining unstable, the airline has now decided to continue the suspension through the end of July.

Many global airlines are currently avoiding Israeli and Iranian airspace to ensure passenger safety. Limited airport operations in Israel have also created difficulties for travelers trying to leave the country.

Reports indicate that around 40,000 Indians currently in Israel are facing difficulties returning home due to the cancellation of regular flight services. The limited number of available flights are reportedly charging significantly higher fares, creating additional challenges for workers and residents.
