Gold prices in Chennai witnessed a decline on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, bringing some relief to jewellery buyers. According to the latest market rates, both 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices have moved lower, while silver prices have also registered a notable drop.

The price of 22-carat gold has fallen by ₹40 per gram, taking the rate to ₹13,560 per gram. Similarly, 18-carat gold is down by ₹30 per gram and is now priced at ₹11,340 per gram.

Silver prices have also declined by ₹5 per gram, with the metal currently trading at ₹250 per gram.
