Light Rain Expected in South Tamil Nadu; Temperature Likely to Rise Slightly
The India Meteorological Department has forecast light rain in a few places across South Tamil Nadu over the next few days.
According to the weather update, light rainfall is likely on Wednesday (March 11) in isolated places in South Tamil Nadu. On Thursday (March 12), a few locations in the southern coastal districts may also receive light showers.
Further, Kanniyakumari, Tirunelveli, and Thoothukudi districts are expected to receive light rain at isolated places on Friday (March 13). Similar light rainfall is likely in some southern coastal districts on March 14 and March 15.
In Chennai and its suburban areas, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy on Tuesday.
Temperature Forecast
Across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, the maximum temperature on Tuesday and Wednesday is expected to remain near normal. However, on Thursday and Friday (March 12 and 13), the maximum temperature may rise by about 2°C above normal in a few places.
