MEMU Services Partially Cancelled Between Arakkonam and Jolarpettai on April 28
MEMU train services between Arakkonam and Jolarpettai will be partially curtailed on April 28 (Tuesday) due to a scheduled line and power block.
Railway authorities have announced that maintenance work will be carried out between Jolarpettai and Vaniyambadi yard from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, affecting train operations in this section.
Details of Affected Trains
- The MEMU service from KSR Bengaluru to Jolarpettai departing at 8:45 AM
- will be short-terminated at Somanayakkanpatti and will not run up to Jolarpettai.
- The return MEMU train departing from Jolarpettai at 3:00 PM
- will be partially cancelled between Jolarpettai and Somanayakkanpatti.
Reason for Service Changes
The disruption is due to essential railway maintenance work, including line and power upgrades, to ensure safe and efficient train operations in the future.
