The assembly line builds on ELGi’s multi-year technology licensing agreement with D.V.P. Vacuum Technology S.p.A., Italy, under which ELGi manufactures, assembles, tests, and markets D.V.P.’s proprietary vacuum products in India. With vacuum being a natural adjacency to compressed air, this initiative reinforces ELGi’s vision to create a strong, future-ready portfolio of industrial air and vacuum solutions.
A proud recipient of the prestigious Deming Prize for Total Quality Management (TQM), ELGi has designed the new vacuum pump assembly line in line with its robust TQM philosophy. The facility enables end-to-end control over quality and reliability, allowing ELGi to offer customers globally competitive products backed by a two-year warranty.
