Chennai - Arakkonam Trains Partially Cancelled from April 16–19 Due to Maintenance Work
Train services between Chennai and Arakkonam will be partially cancelled from April 16 to April 19 due to maintenance work at the Arakkonam workshop, Southern Railway announced.
According to officials, suburban electric train services will be regulated and partially cancelled during this period to facilitate ongoing maintenance activities.
As per the schedule, the EMU train departing from Chennai Central at 11:00 AM towards Arakkonam will be operated only up to Tiruvallur and cancelled between Tiruvallur and Arakkonam.
Similarly, the train departing from Tiruttani at 12:35 PM towards Chennai Central will also be short-terminated at Tiruvallur, with services cancelled beyond that section.
Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check for updates from railway authorities.
